Luke Wieting is a critically acclaimed, award-winning film and television composer based in Los Angeles, California. Luke has scored a wide variety of projects, including feature films, television shows, dance pieces, and commercials.
Luke Wieting’s music has been performed all around the world, including Japan, Chicago, Hollywood, and Los Angeles. In addition to collaborating with some of the finest studio musicians in the Los Angeles area, he has worked with Grammy Award winning composer and trumpeter Terence Blanchard (Inside Man), the Fulcrum Point New Music Project, the New Millennium Orchestra, and Danceworks.
Luke holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College in Chicago, where he studied under the direction of Grammy Award winning producer Andy Hill and two-time Emmy Award winning composer Hummie Mann (Robin Hood: Men in Tights).
Luke is currently working on several feature films, and resides in the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles, California.
